There is a gravity well at the core of our Being.

Once awoken, it pulls relentlessly

on all aspects of our separate identity,

bit by bit (and sometimes in one large swallow),

.
until All are subsumed into the Core.
.
.
There is no act of surrender.
.
There is just the end of resistance to this inexorable pull.

As all the parts of Self are pulled to the centre,

the Whole is revealed
in a blaze of glorious light,
.
and eternity is seen
in a simple
moment.
