The Sacrament of This Moment

(Love of The Real)

.

Once you fall in love with The Real,

nothing else will satisfy.

The cravings for old habits

and the feeding of old desires

start to feel stale and sterile,

lacking the vibrancy and vitality of the new.

.

What a gift: to realise one is living

in the ever-here moment of creation,

no beginning and no end,

the always sacred precious presence

that finally makes sense of the unfolding

we are all embedded within.

.

If you give yourself to The Real

and open yourself to its perspective,

then the shutters are thrown wide open

and one’s heart starts to burst with

the overwhelming ‘rightness’ of what arises

which is not other than one’s deepest self.

.

The moods and swings of the personality

lose their power to influence and colour

the bubbling joy and bottomless peace,

and a bright light beyond seeing is recognised

as the screen of perception, which can no longer

contain the glory and magnificence of sheer being.
