The arising of notions of self is inevitable.
They have a momentum that is relentless.
We have been feeding them since before time.

It need not be an obstacle to clarity….
unless one locates one’s centre of gravity
in what arises, assuming it to be substantial.

To be truly authentic is to cease any movement to identify,
to dissolve the impulse to grasp as it is born,
and simply rest in the peace of “Just Being”.
