Mistakes,…I’ve Made a Few,…But Then Again . . . .

.

I write to explore what it means to live life

from the perspective of knowing one’s self

as an expression of the Whole.

.

The realisation of Emptiness/Wholeness

has an absolute pristine quality to it,

yet we are fallible flesh attempting to embody it.

.

Our humanity comes with inbuilt weaknesses, temptations,

 blind spots, vulnerabilities, cracks, heartbreaks

and sometimes we stumble and fall.

.

To ourselves, we may appear to rise and fall,

touch dizzying heights and plunge to deepest depths.

We judge our performance as if living to achieve targets.

.

Let’s give ourselves a break – a big break.

I’m going to be so bold as to suggest that,

to the Divine, there is no judgement, just an unfolding.

.

You may judge that you have stepped backwards,

but from a higher perspective this may be a lesson learned,

an understanding deepened. Nothing is wasted or in vain.

.

Trust in the unfolding. . . .

Trust even when you think you have lost trust . . . .

Trust even when you forget . . . .

.

Whatever shape and form you are manifesting,

whoever you judge yourself to be,

there is a simple constant that never deserts you.

.

The ever present “I” beyond any changing experience

is your constant. Two steps forward and one step back

are simply dance steps in the Rhythm of Life.

.

In the biggest picture, there are no mistakes . . .

.

.

This is NOT an open invitation to abandon one’s inner moral compass!
