The longing at the heart of Being
is the call to explore one’s interiority,
and examine with a persistent curiosity,
the pushes and pulls that appear to move us,
sometimes blindly, in the world,
seeking answers to the biggest question.
Who am I really?
.
Diving into one’s own Heart
and exploring its mysteries and secrets,
the Universe itself, opens before us,
like a bud gently unfurling its petals to the light,
and showing us its intimate entwinning with our own self.
.
The human heart is the gateway
to discovering the perceived Universe,
as Not-Other-Than-Me.
In the field of crystal-clear awareness
the world is revealed in its sparkling variety
as the reflection of a core simplicity
pirouetting with and within itself.
The Buddha field. Just This. Now.
.
How shall I be?
The creative freedom of the opened heart
is the arising of the Bodhisattva vow of compassion,
a spontaneous and natural reaching out
beyond ever knowing “how”.
