*6th November 2024: Donald Trump appearing to win a 2nd Term as US President

Impermanence:
Do not put your trust in external things,
you are destined to be disappointed.
The relentless nature of change
will strip away all your expectations,
hopes, dreams and intentions.
Solidity and Permanence
are the illusions of time scale.
In the end, everything you love will fall away.
.
This isn’t a cause for despair,
although you may run the emotional gauntlet
in response to circumstance.
All structures fail, allowing new growth.
Take a deep breath. Sit very still.
Listen very carefully.
Whatever turmoil is arising,
Presence is quietly, gently, yet relentlessly
bubbling away underneath the surface storms.
.
Let your focus relax, widen and deepen.
Re-discover the vast inner space
that you have been cultivating.
Let go of any attachment to the world
and cease to identify yourself with any aspect.
You are the vast, boundless, ever-new space.
This is where you find the changeless,
the trustworthy, the indefatigable endless source
of pure Being that you already are.
.
Allow its patient, soft, all-embracing,
generous and life-affirming energy
to nourish and guide you.
The way ahead may be dark
and the challenges immense.
Do not look to others to be the guiding light.
Be the light. Hold the space.
Be the calm centre that never moves or flinches.
The World needs You now, more than ever.
