*
The emotional surge
of physical limitation
is both disturbing
and inconsequential—
yet another paradox
unfolding
from my personal context
into the vastness
of the universal.
*
In the face
of devastating limits,
there is also
no limitation at all—
the vaster
embracing the former
with tenderness
and deep clarity.
*
For as my centre
becomes both known
and unknowable,
and plummets
to unfathomable depths,
my outer limits
recede beyond the event horizon,
and I sit—
nestled—
both as the core and the body
of the entire universe,
all contained
in the simplicity
of a single human being.
