Catch Me If You Can

.

When I stop

trying

to catch myself

in concepts,

a profound

understanding

of not-knowing

fills awareness.

.

The utter futility

of fixing essence

as substance

flares

in a radiant flash.

.

Being itself—

the space I am—

awakens.

.

Presence,

the thrill of aliveness,

the joy

of fresh eyes,

fills the boundless

with wonder.

.

Not-knowing

cuts through

the Gordian knot

of selfhood,

makes a mockery

of being someone

“in a state”

of enlightenment.

.

Nothing obstructs

the view.

.

Pure being

explodes—

forever—

as

ME.
