.
A luminous dance—
Shiva—
the maypole,
round which Shakti
circles and weaves,
drawn ever closer
as the ribbon winds
tighter and tighter—
Union beckoning.
.
I recognise
the Eternal
as my true home,
yet I’m still
circling,
not fully landed.
.
Orbiting its gravity well,
my heart feels the longing
that tethers my course
in ever-decreasing spirals.
.
An irresistible pull
rips apart
the old armour
round my heart,
shattering in slow motion
my temporary abode—
the sense of being
apart from All.
.
This soul vessel
expands
beyond its
bodily home.
The embrace
of the Whole
beckons.
.
As my boundaries
fade to transparency,
I can feel
the ultimate nearness—
Presence
at the nape.
.
Not a knowing
of Infinity as self,
but being
Eternity
itself—
alive
as me.
.
Finding
my forever home
in the
Forever.
