to colourless and transparent,
and with clear ‘eyes’ unimpeded by opinion,
the inherent perfection of Being
shines forth in its radiant pristine presence
of ‘Just-This’, encompassing everything
from the Self-Beyond to the creation
manifesting right here and right now.

Treasure this view. It is precious.
Do not let others trample over it
and tarnish it with their delusions.
All those centuries ago
in the Here and Now of There and Then,
Epictetus cautioned us to guard our attention:
“Do not hand your mind to anyone who comes along”.
Be the sole measure of truth that you perceive.

Eyes with no filters see clearly.
Once you have witnessed
the inherent perfection of “Just-This”,
regardless of its content,
you simply see the creation, always unfinished,
an unfolding, a flowering of the infinite eternal.
How can I be a light to the world
if I wrap myself up in the darkness of other’s minds?

Every moment is bursting with potential for the ever-new.
Abandon the world of opinions and agendas presented as truths.
They are the real Fake News. Trust your own eyes
See the world as it arises before you now
and reflect its glorious light as yourself.
Shine brightly, take off the covers that dim your glow.
