The discovery of pure unfiltered Awareness as Self
is a very, very big deal,
a radical shift of perspective
that one is usually quite unprepared for,
and can easily dismiss with a “so what now?”

To be true to the promise of Liberation inherent in its realisation,
is to relinquish control,
or rather, to finally understand that one was never in control.

There is no hierarchy of meaning in pure Awareness.
It is unfiltered, crystal-clear and razor-sharp:
everything arising in each eternal moment
is the indivisible whole.

It offers no platform for a “me-first” perspective,
no handhold on which to attach a personal agenda,
a wide-open vista with no focal point of judgement
related to personal preference.

Nothing sticks, including everything one holds dear,
yet nothing is missing.
The shackles of limitation have been smashed
and one cannot help but be swept away
on a frictionless roller-coaster ride
of such astonishment that there is no time or room for regret.

It takes time to sink in
that everything is being transformed.
The mundane becomes the magnificent,
tiny details are significant, care replaces self-concern
and the emotional bandwidth, so carefully managed by ego,
is shattered beyond bearing.
.
All is alive, full of vitality, exploding into ever-fresh configurations
that scream integrity with every breath.
In this radiant immediacy, there is no time to take stock,
to regroup, to formulate a plan, to manipulate experience:
the flow is too strong,
and joy and ease replace fear and worry.

Deep trust is discovered and the struggle ceases.
Profound rest and full passionate engagement
intertwine like Yin and Yang,
as the flow of unfolding
leaves one wide-eyed in wonder beyond imagining.
