Lost & Found

The Universe is continually bombarding us

with the Truth of our own nature, in myriad forms,

from a butterfly alighting on a flower,

to a passage in a mystical text from an exotic system of thought.

.

What one ‘hears’ or how one ‘receives’ it,

depends upon multiple factors too.

What passion for truth burns in your breast?

Where is your centre of gravity located?

.

Are you still wrestling with thoughts that tempt you into smallness?

Are you so rooted into stillness and aware of the vast emptiness,

in which the World is birthed,

that nothing can pull you from the centre of the wheel?

.

These writings arise in response to my own, ever-unfurling existential questions.

Sometimes they address the one who has wandered back

into the maze of the mind and seemingly lost his trust in Being,

that only comes from not knowing anything.

.

At other times, the radiant clarity is so blindingly obvious,

and the understanding that nothing can ever taint or stain it,

so undeniable, that a beam of light from the source

is carried on the words that write themselves.

.

Some words arrive as celebrations, some as warnings,

some as invitations and some as clarifications.

For Ultimate Truth is stark and absolute,

but how one embodies it and integrates it, remains a living question mark.

.

We are all ‘works-in-process’ with no final destination.

For all that we entertain ideas of levels and states and stages,

this is simply dancing in the infinite eternal ballroom of Divine Play,

and sometimes we lead, sometimes follow and sometimes we play the music.

.

One has to be lost to be found,

confusion is necessary for clarity to cut through,

a forgetting is the prequel to a remembering,

and revelations arise when one wanders away from the source.

.

Pay little attention to where one finds oneself in this vast cycle

of coming and going. Enjoy the dance.

Treasures are best appreciated when one is empty enough to receive them

and see them as gifts that weave us through the patterns without a blueprint.
